Around $1.75 per case a month
Irregawdless, too far from Roswell.
VV says they moved to Wine Owners because CellarTracker is too porous (it allows owners to make changes to VV inventory). It is hard to imagine a worse software platform from a user standpoint. I was ready to move my storage but for VV’s commitment to update my CT inventory. Candidly, if I had another full-service option, I would have already moved. The service is great, but the software is ![]()
I’m in San Francisco and pay around $1.5 / bottle / year for a self organized storage space (wine organized in 6 or 12 pack lay flat boxes)
If you want to pitch it to Vino Vault, I’d love to put you in touch if you don’t have direct access to management.
Just decided to get some out of the house and into long term storage. Grabbed a 30 case locker for $350 for the year. Very good deal in north county about $1/yr for a bottle. It is upstairs and no elevator but I don’t plan to go to this place often
I’m definitely in the $2-3/bot per year range
Sorry what is the solution? And I don’t think I have I have heard from you in 5-6 years. Fuck CT or can we collab?
I’m paying about $2.30/bottle per year, which includes walk-in room with racking, and a second small locker.
Depending on how may bottles, you can stash in my home cellar (temp controlled) in Warren/Youngstown. No charge other than opening a bottle or two whenever you come to grab inventory ![]()
I pay $80/mo for 94 cases, or 85 cents per case in the S.F. Bay Area. Very basic, with no services.
I would imagine there are opportunities for CT to collaborate with storage facilities, I know my provider inquired in the past to no avail. Allow users to select where they store and then submit requests to their facility for pick/pull/liquidate/other tasks and charge the facility a fee for some sort of professional version.
I was paying 1032 for a 42 case wine locker plus a 50 dollar membership fee at Buckhead in ATL. I actually like the new site better (I guess worse if you live in Buckhead) but if you don’t live in Buckhead the traffic is a bit less. So a little over 2 dollars a bottle per year. It was not walk in - pretty difficult to use except for long storage. They do have more accessible lockers so price may vary with what you want. 24 hour access.
Paying way too much out in the Willamette Valley, around $130/mo for 400 bottles. Surprisingly there are almost no options for storage near the McMinnville area.
There’s just nothing for us out here OTP unfortunately, from Roswell to Buckhead Wine Cellars is 90 minutes round trip. Vine Vault has no line of sight on the Roswell location, it’s only being used as pallet storage and receiving for the forseeable future.
In Los Angeles I am paying $650 a year for a 28 case locker.Great temp and humidity control, open 5 days a week.
Super late to the discussion but I am at a 1.60/bottle for a 6’ x 8’ locker with 24 hour access, tasting room, and shipping services, here in Portland, Oregon.
Does anyone know of any storage like this (active tasting room on-site) in the Bay Area?
Preferably East Bay but all suggestions welcome!
Used to pay close to $400/mo for cost of about 65 cases of wines on restrictive storage in NYC’s Bronx area; but found lower cost alternative for < $200 that provides similar, personalized services.
I pay just under $3 a bottle per year in Seattle. I have my own racking locker that I can access 7 days a week from 11 am - 6 pm. They also offer palletized storage (no access without assistance) for significantly less.
