Offsite storage at France 44 in Edina MN

Does anybody have experience using the storage facilities at France 44? They are one of my favorite retail shops for the occasional one off bottle.

Main questions:

  1. what observations have you made about temps and humidity? Their website is vague as I’m sure they would have somebody complaining about 56 degrees if they said they target 55
  2. has anybody heard horror stories like the haskells fiasco that was detailed on this board a few years ago?

Chris the storage is legit. I have been down there many times. For a fraction of the price I will store your wines in my passive basement! Might have a few less when you pick them up however. [cheers.gif]

Thanks for the info. Maybe I’ll take you up on the storage but only send things that are so young your conscience wouldn’t let you open them before I come pick them up!

I actually have had space there for about 7 years without any problems. I pulled some wines recently that have been stored there since I originally got my locker and everything was good. I’m not there frequently but it has always been well run everytime I’ve been by and is definitely temperature controlled and chilly when I’m organizing things.

It has also been really easy to work with them. I don’t live in the cities but used to find myself there quite a bit. If you are a local it’s easy to bring your wine in and out. If you are further away like me they will sign for wine you have shipped there and put it in your locker.
