I was there yesterday! Didn’t know there were other berserkers in the area. We’re in Grosse Pointe Farms.
Love Grosse Point Farms, moms family is from that area
Part of Constellation now. All direct lists have to be under some pressure now, so alternate outlets have to be found. But that just weakens DTC even more.
Can’t freaking wait until the $0.79’s hit ![]()
Hell, yeah!

Jealous, La Rioja Alta never makes it to the Costco’s on the west coast as far as I have seen
That’s probably been one of maaaaaaaaybe three things worth being jealous of in probably four months, lol. But I’ll take it!
Yep, we see 904s semi regularly in Atlanta, and there’s currently 890s for $190, but the selection isn’t generally great.
What vintage are the 890’s that’s a good price
Presumably every last bit of holiday consumption (Thanksgiving to Valentines) has been squeezed out and the death stars have arrived, at least at 471.
Surprisingly, this is the 2022 rather than the 2021
These are being dumped at a wide spectrum of retailers for $30 as well.
Sauvignon Blanc in the City
They took a whopping $5 off this one, so presumably this will continue sitting.
This doesn’t surprise me (they were initially offered at $38 I think) but these are restickered on the backlabel, and its 8 years past the vintage.
I mentioned the Gonnet gift picks up thread but they are now down to $20 for a 3 pack of CNDP, Rasteau and Vacqueryas. Singleton Gonnet CNDPs sell at the same Costco’s for $27. They are not located in the main wine sections but usually in the bulk / box area.
Kirwan 2022 is mostly $70+ at retail. That’s a hell of a deal
I think that price was supposed to be for the 2021 but somehow the 2022s are/were in stock at this location. I picked one up as it was cheaper than I’ve ever paid in 30 years for Kirwan.
La Croix Ducru for 20 bucks is shocking. even for 2021.
I suspect as much too.
I mean the ratings for '22 is right on the card. So this display card and price was for the '22.
Costco uses the same product code over its entire system and I’ve seen two different vintage of wine with different prices in the same store. So had this been a '21 tag with '22 bottles, it would ring up at the '22 price.
Best guess, whoever runs the wine dept just wanted to move them. FWIW, a nearby Costco to this has this at $55.09.
For Tuscany/Sangiovese fans, Costco in Foster City, CA is currently selling the 2021 Bibi Graetz Testamatta at $46.99. Wine-Searcher.com average is $93. I picked up 3.
