This is technically their “third” bottling, but really @Arv_R statement is the most accurate. Giscours 2nd label is La Sirene de Giscours, and honestly I’ve enjoyed every bottle I’ve ever had, 2016, 2018, 2019. All early drinkers, but remarkably pleasant. Overpriced at Total Wine, but if one ever found any for <$35 I would say go for it.

I like the new Costco app, and even put it on my home screen, as a marker of my devotion to their warehouse vision…but it’s a bit wonky. As anything related to Costco technology is.
Damnit - she gets home and tells me they originally gave her 6 of the Cos instead of Poyferre (after she had already paid) but she let them know it was the wrong one…
It is funny that the bottles look so similar.
If I could get there, I would buy at least a case of the Valdicava. That is a phenomenal price

Not an unfair assessment. We picked up a few at a local Total Wine and noticed that the last couple have been less light on their feet, so they’re maybe starting to fall asleep.
As an aside, I did check the SKU while I was at Costco yesterday, and there is no Lilian to be had in TX. No joy in mudville.
6 Valdicava BdM left at LP Chicago. Happy to share a bottle or two with anyone locally that can’t get there.

The Kirkland pimp cane is such a bargain, you don’t need to worry about getting one gratis with the Faberge Egg.
But it comes in packs of four, which is kind of more canes than a given pimp needs.

A friend asked me to pick him up some Leoville Poyferre. The Valdicava on display was gone. Safe to say LP Chicago has none.
Since I don’t have a copy of other people’s receipts, that doesn’t help me. All I can do is play a “bingo-like” game, where every time someone posts about wines at Store #XYZ, I can look at a receipt from MY local Costco and say to myself “Nope, not today!”

These are here in Tucson at the .97 * discounting - x5 of the ‘20 Palmer and x13 of ‘20 Las Cases per the staff in the front. If anyone out there wants them let me know - obviously wanting most if not all of them at a go would be easier for me in the end with trips, etc. I could store safely in my cellar and box up in styro boxes I have here to go to you once the weather is cooler here. Shipping label and insurance would come from you…. Let me know - this was the first time I’ve seen these here on sale like this. CHEERS
