Ugh, CA gets such a better selection. So jealous!

Same price, insiders advantage

Has Costco finally run through its 2019 Bordeaux?

I’ve seen Siran and maybe a few other bottlings in the same price range but looks like 2020 is more prevalent in store.

Still a bit left in AZ but slim pickings for sure. Snagged a couple bottles of Chateau Nenin a couple days ago.

PA used to have a ridiculous policy that allowed returns with no time limit. Dressner decided to stop selling to the PLCB at one point. Now it’s like a 10 day return policy, but that’s the Commonwealth for you.

Vegas has some 19s and now some 20s. Nothing exciting left here either.

I couldn’t resist this Premier Cru Chablis for $24. It’s pleasant enough with Lemon flavors, some leesy character, and oyster shell minerals. Acidity is pretty soft, however, and the finish is short. Would skip in favor of a Clos de Briords or similar Muscadet.

Also at Santa Clara 10/9. My guess is this is only available in the Bay Area or maybe Northern CA.

where you found this nice bottle? Any chance of letting me know the item number?
Thank you so much

I’ve returned corked bottles to Costco on several occasions…probably 4-5 times over the last 7 years. They always gave me a refund once I explained that the bottle was defective/corked…I did have to explain what “corked” meant, and was very clear that this was NOT a case of me simply not liking the wine. The only time I ever had a problem returning (unopened) wine was when I took it in and it was still cool from my cellar…Apparently they have a policy that they wont’ allow wine returns if the wine has been cooled in a cellar (as bizarre as that is). So now I know to let it sit out at room temp for an hour or so before heading to the store to return any unopened bottles.
