Official Costco Thread

RIP I should have known better as I hadn’t seen any DP10 at Costco in a year or so.

Seattle SoDo has 2019 Malescot St Exupery for $39.99 and 2019 D’Armailhac for $42.99. Looked like a couple of cases of each. Oh and 2019 Lafite for $499.99.

damn, that’s what I get for not reading this thread for a week. ughh

Wow, jealous over the Bordeaux bargains in Seattle.

I’ve never been to Costco but I’ve heard the alcohol sections of the stores are accessible by people without cards correct? I see you mentioning the South Bay Costco’s but how’s the selection in the one’s closer to the city eg. Daly City / South San Francisco

Yup, no membership needed

Every one I’ve ever seen (probably at least a dozen in several states) the liquor and wine have been inside the store and you did need a membership.

Some states make it illegal to require a membership for alcohol purchases. You just have to mention you’re there to buy alcohol to the employees at the entrance and they should let you through.

2019 Chateau Haut Bages $35 @ Superior, Co warehouse.

Is it liberal or conservative?

Wow, that’s half the price of what it sells for at my local Costco.

I see that at every Costco, and on a lot of restaurant lists. Every Costco I’ve seen, though, it’s $30 or $40.

Costco shoreline (Seattle):

2019 Pontet-Canet $85.99 (basically first trench futures pricing)
2019 Antonori Tignanello $109.99 (selling $140+ elsewhere)
2020 Henri Latour Meursault “Les Vireuils” white $45.99
2019 Chateau Armailac pauillac $42.99
2019 Pichon Comtesse Reserve pauillac $38.99
2019 Chateau Malescot St Exupery $39.99

I bought some pontet, tignanello, Les vireuils and armailhac.

Nice score on the Tig. Have not seen it at any of the local SoCal Costco’s. That will be a big buy if I find it in store!

The 2019 Tig was in the Irvine Costco (by the Hangars) last fall for that price. I bought four or five. I haven’t seen it since then though.
