Two weeks post-BD 14 and I just received delivery on the four pack. Drinking the Cuvée Cerise while watching the Super Bowl. Will spare everyone the “touchdown!” metaphors - just wishing I’d bought the six pack … or two of them. Note to my future self, and everyone looking at this thread in 2024 prepping for BD15. This mix of GSM + petite sirah is a winner. You know how sometimes you can taste the pure flavors that the winemaker lists in their notes, and sometimes it’s just a swag of “yup, that’s a red wine”? This is the former. It’s drinkable now and it has the complexity to stand up to a rib-eye dinner, and it’s now mellowed with more leather and spice peeking through the blue and blackberry with some violets on the nose. This makes me look forward to trying the rest of the sampler pack. Winner!!
