NYC: K&L Wines Traveling Dinner Party BYO - June 8th

Hey folks! I met some wonderful WineBerserkers folks a few months ago at Noreeuth for a Burgundy BYO ahead of La Paulee.

At K&L we’ve had such a warm welcome from the WineBerserkers community to opening up in NY, and we would love to invite you to our first ever event in NYC.

Some of the best wines we’ve ever had were around someone’s kitchen table. This series, which we’re calling “Good Company,” is our attempt to recreate our favorite moments in wine. More of a dinner party than traditional wine dinner. One long table, family style prix fixe, free corkage, and some tasty bottles of Burgundy.

For our first installment, we’ve gone with “Burgundy’s Best of the Rest.” We’re thinking alternate villages, unexpected wines from top producers, under-appreciated vintages. We’ll be bringing the following wines to get it started, maybe a few more:

  • Coche Dury Monthelie 2018
  • Bachelet Monnot Maranges La Fussiere 1er Cru 2023
  • Sylvain Cathiard Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits “Les Dames Huguette” 2020

Ticket Price: $100 Family-Style Prix Fixe, Free Corkage
Location: Vinile Chophouse - owned by a super cool young couple, plus they have 1000+ vinyl on site, and they’re giving us “aux cord” privileges for the night if anyone wants to request a record!

I already purchased tickets for Six on Broadway (with my wife) so I can’t make it…

Tom thanks for putting this event together, although I’m likely not going to be able attend since I’m returning from vacation that evening. I do look forward to more events from you/K&L.
