Will be heading to north Dallas (Plano, Frisco area) in a few weeks and looking for recommendations. I didn’t see a recent thread on the area.

I used to go to Addison quite a bit and was occassionaly north in Plano/Frisco.
North Italia- solid small chain with a decent wine list. Would eat at their bar often if I didn’t have a business dinner
Whiskey Cake Kitchen- food is decent, the bourbon list in the past was the reason to go. Great selection and pricing but my last visit was pre-covid.
Ida Claire is a great spot in Addison if you don’t mind heading south.

Our favorite brewery in the area is 3 Nations in Carrollton - delicious beers and worth a visit!

We are going to Heritage Table in Frisco or Ida Claire if we head south, also try to hit 3 Nations.

Legacy West in Plano has a lot of options and great walkable retail. A number of local restaurant groups with popular concepts in Dallas proper have opened locations in Legacy West and around that area. Bob’s Steak and Chophouse is reasonable for good quality steak and a great wine list.

We were staying in Legacy West so did enjoy some spots for drinks, nice area and lots of options. Plano/Frisco area is new with cool concepts, but does feel a little soulless in that everything is a strip mall.
