Noosa yoghurt

great stuff now coming into S. California (Sprouts and Whole Foods). Australian yoghurt made in Colorado–several flavors including mango, blueberry, honey, raspberry. I tasted it first in Boulder, CO at a farmer’s market and finally found it here in S. Cal. Dense, layered, rich flavors with a tart almost sour finish that adds interest and complexity. Head and shoulders above any other yoghurt I’ve ever tasted. Almost a dessert. Lots more calories than the insipid stuff sold in most groceries, but much, much more flavor. http://www.noosayoghurt.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (no affiliation, yada, yada, yada, just love the stuff.)

So, so true. Not just about yogurt…

Similar to the Greek yogurts?

We have also found a new (to us) yogurt cheese - Karoun Mediterranean style kefir cheese

Its about half way between greek yogurt and goat cheese in consistency and is spreadable. Very rich, tart flavor on its own but can add sweet or savory to it. Contains live probiotics as well. Not horribly fatty - 60 cal per 2 tbsp

creamier, denser than the Greek stuff (though all I’ve tried is the Trader Joe’s Greek stuff).
