Just curious to know if anyone has any recommendations for a nice restaurant somewhere in the general Northridge area of LA. We’ve got a concert to attend next weekend, and would like to find a place in that area so we can go directly to the concert
afterwards. It doesn’t need to be fancy, although wine-friendly/BYOB would be nice.

It is definitely not fancy, but Brent’s Deli is fantastic. I’ve never brought wine, but there is a post on chowhound indicating that it is BYOB. Might not be what you are looking for, but the food is great. Pastrami is not as good as Langers, although it is quite good, and I’ve read that the overall menu is better than Langers.
The best Southern Indian restaurant in town is very close - Woodlands (http://www.woodlandsinla.com/Home.html). It is all vegetarian, and not exactly cuisine that pairs best with wine, but Aaron & I go out of our way to dine there and are excited it is going to be much closer to us when we move.
