NEWBIES!!! Please read!

Newbies - I’m going to start featuring the ‘Newbies’ (those who have NEVER been in BerserkerDay before) with a feature, as we’ve done in the past. Create a post that has NOTHING ABOUT YOUR OFFER (this is important), and use the following guidelines:

  1. Again, nothing about your BerserkerDay offer
  2. Title the Topic with NEWBIE INTRO: then the name of your winery, and a cute message if you want in the title
  3. Introduce yourselves, the winery, photos are always good - connect with the audience. Remember that there are literally hundreds of offers on BerserkerDay, so to get any traction, you need to sell yourself a bit first so people can ‘look for you’ on the big day.
  4. Post notes from Berserkers (either from the forum or CellarTracker) so people get an idea of your wines. Professional reviews aren’t as impactful on BerserkerDay, so if you can dig up personal reviews FROM Berserkers, that’s the key. Many of you newbies were brought here BY Berserker customers, so utilize that!
  5. POST THESE INTROS HERE IN THE FORUM. Create a new topic, separate from your offer. I’ll look them over and make edits, then publish them to a Newbie Intros forum that I will create as a subforum to the BD11 forum. Do not post them in Wine Talk or elsewhere :slight_smile:

Use the Image/Media button (if the images are hosted somewhere else, like your website) at the top of the text box, or use the Attachments tab below the text box.

If you want just paste the image link anywhere in your offer and I’ll clean it up. Like

Not sure how to create a shortened link to a thread (TNs). Can create a shortened URL using some outside tools, of course, but then it won’t look similar to those I have seen here. What do you guys use, or is there a button I am missing?

Preferably, posted as a new thread in this forum. I will then look it over make any edits and put it in the public forum

All Newbies should strongly consider adding your Newbie Intro threads into your offer, so you don’t have to repeat yourselves, and given there are a lot of comments on most of the Intros, that will help your sales!
