Kiralyudvar, Lapis Aszu 6 Puttonyos Tokaj 2007 (500 mL)
This wine is so highly rated 19/20 points JR. Tasting notes donât touch on the complexity but âpecans dripping in baked-orange syrup, rye toast and hops, fig jam and hayâ should tell you how divine it is. You havenât lived if you havenât had tokaj and this is a great example. My wife loves tokaj.
From Alsace the Ernest Burn, Clos St-Imer Goldert Muscat Vendange Tardive Alsace Grand Cru 2007 is absolutely phenomenal. Tasting notes: aromas of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon zest and herbaceousness full of freshness, with a note of ginger and rose petals. Very highly rated as well.
