New Year's Supper

Last evening we had several thin slices from out Xmas rib roast, with mustard mayonnaise, whole grain Dijon, and Picholine, Lucques, & Cerignola olives along with a 1997 Dobra Zemlja Amador County Estate Syrah - dark in color; rich, bold. ripe berries in nose and flavors; balanced mid-palate with enough acid and ripe fruit to counter the 16.9% alcohol; and a long ripe berry finish. It was very tasty with the rich prime beef and olives. This was also consumed in our den watching the end of the Rose Parade, after having watched some of the Rose Bowl game.

It was delicious and very enjoyable.
