In for 3, as soon as I read they were influenced by Spottswoode it was an automatic buy.

He’s probably too busy swimming in orders right now :laughing::laughing::laughing:

I did. It was great. High acid and fantastic mouthfeel. Really unlike any other Napa Sauvignon Blanc I’ve had. In a good way. I’m looking forward to opening a bottle soon after I receive them. Likely over the holidays.

I think the vineyard owners didnt allow/want Mowe to discuss the name from what i remember.

Renee and I are overwhelmed with joy and excitement over today’s release. Like most all of you, we’re first and foremost wine lovers, and we’ve always only wanted to create something we truly love and hopefully (sometimes we thought it was wishful thinking) that it would resonate with consumers & collectors.

I’m a bit underwater today, so I’ll keep this short, but we truly appreciate all your support and enthusiasm for our wines.

RE: Sauv Blanc - This vineyard is located in Coombsville. Its an old dry farmed, deep rooted organic vineyard that has been an estate wine for a brand that’s owner decided to stop making wine. Since they still have wine in market, we have an agreement to not use the vineyard name till all their wines are gone. It is a total unicorn of a vineyard and is a perfect match to pair with our Estate Cabernet Vineyard (we take all the fruit so no other wines will be made with it). Maayan killed it with our 2022…We always though that if we couldn’t sell it, at least we would be drinking really well for a long time because we were totally in love with it.

Thank you all for your support and I promise more interaction in the future!

It’s piling on at this point, but I just wanted to say that Dustin clearly takes pride in customer service with a personal touch. Hope to visit and meet him & Renee the next time I’m out in Napa.

Happy for Dustin and Renee!

Thank you @Daniel_Walsh for your support!

@Andrew_Demaree We also hope to meet you on your next trip. Keep in touch and let me know when that planning starts coming together.

We only have a tiny bit of wine left and are so thankful for the positive reception to our first release. The kind words above from all of you have certainly helped. THANK YOU ALL  :wine_glass:

Hey Roy — is that ā€œCostanzoā€ George Costanza or Massimo DiCostanzo?

The wine is imported/exported.

I think (dont want to put words in @Roy_Piper mouth) but i think he was referring Di Costanzo (massimo).

I assumed as much, Dustin! My comment was tongue-in-cheek, giving Roy a little grief about misspelling one of his winemaker colleagues’ last name. Although I think a George Costanza-branded wine could be funny!

In for 3 cabs. Looking forward to visiting sometime soon

Late to the party (and not adding much to what’s already been said), but wanted to reiterate what others in this thread have said. @D_Mowe and Renee were kind enough to host us last week after an especially busy week for them. Their wines were elegant, complex, and held amazing tension. While everyone in our group loved the CS, the SB’s vibrant acidity and long finish on the mid-palate made it the WOTD for most of us. We’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to try their inaugural vintage, and we will be buyers for the foreseeable future

Went right over my head… LOL. :man_facepalming:

Was great to spend time with you guys to break up the craziness of the week! Stoked to read your note above  :wine_glass:.
