I have about a 20 year old Vino Temp VT34 mini wine fridge.
I would like to relocate it to a room that has nice 80 year ol dhardwood floors. I would like to put something underneath it to protect the floor.
I saw mini fridge drip tray pans on amazon however they are all about 1-1/2 in deep and this will interfere with the door swing as the bottom of the door is just barley over the floor.
I am looking for ideas and suggestions for some low profile black pad or low profile tray. Any ideas?
A neighbor has a black drip pad in his garage to catch melting snow. Obviously, that one is car sized, but perhaps there are smaller ones intended to catch leaks under the engine.
Cut some 2x4s and make a square for the unit to sit on inside the tray/pan. This will elevate the unit above the lip and allow the door to clear. Very stable and highly recommend a pan with at least a 1” lip if a leak would ruin the floor.
Have a Eurocave in our carpeted closet (very understanding wife) and this works perfectly.
