Neal Martin of WA burgundy reviews are out today. 09 Ponsot CDLR top scoring wine. On brief review of my 09 barrel tasting notes, it appears our impressions are pretty similar. (Ponsot, Vogue, Dujac, Pernot, Jean Noel Gagnard, Mongeard-Gilbourg)
He did a good job here Roger.
I will be interested in seeing the correlation with others when those reviews are released. Laurent has been priced out of my market for 09.
Initial cheapest in the ATL area will be over $1000 for 750. That $625 from Bryan looks pretty good. Did I just say $625 for a 750 09 CdlR looks good?
Don,
You’re a sick puppy if a $1000 price somewhere makes $625 elsewhere for 25.4 oz. of grape juice look good…but aren’t we all?!
Mongeard-Mugneret - or Mugneret-Gibourg?
Pernot? - Perrot-Minot?
Sorry for the typo…I was doing quickly on my I-Phone…should be Mugneret-Gibourg …Pernot is correct… properties that I had visited last Fall and scanned to see Neal’s notes…I loved the wines from both properties.
