Looks like we are a go for Sunday, 10/18/09 at Carrie’s place in Napa. I’ll be rolling in hot from Flagstaff, so I am thinking 6PM at the earliest for us…more likely 7 so we can check into the hotel and get freshened up.

Food:
Bob Wood has offered to cook for us. If nobody objects, I will have Bryan send us up something good in the way of beef and lamb and leave the rest to Bob creativity. I was thinking enough racks to have lollipops of lamb and then some hangers and thick porterhouses to carve up. I think $50 a person should more than cover it.

Wine Theme:
Since we are in Napa, I suppose CA wines seem to fit. But I won’t hold it against anyone if they want to bring things from around the world.

An early start Sunday would work best for me. Weeknights would be tough as it would take roughly 1.5 hours to get to Napa from Sacramento. I would more than likely be +1 also.

Lots of places to BYO in the valley so if it doesnt get too big, that would be a good option.
