Shipping…wines ship Via UPS Ground and I will ship them as soon as I can (Weather Dependent). There is no discount for shipping. I went as low as possible on the wines and can’t afford to discount the shipping as well. (Although I will say that my preprogrammed rates are almost always less than what the shipping actually costs me…especially in the last year or so as I haven’t changed my rates with the increases in shipping costs)
Ok…now the fluff.
My name is Dusty Nabor and I’m owner and winemaker for all three brands.
Dusty Nabor Wines is my eponymous brand and my finest wines (Some would debate this but I think so). I’ve been making wine under this brand since 2015. I thrive in the Santa Ynez Valley and source all my fruit from there. Prestigious vineyards in the Sta Rita Hills such as Radian, Bentrock, Fiddlestix, Hilliard Bruce and Spear to name a few. Moving through Ballard Canyon with Kimsey and J+K Vineyards, Then out to Los Olivos district and Happy Canyon for my Bordeaux varieties. I have one philosophy and that is to not get in the way of what the land wants to express through the grapes. My approach to winemaking is very hands off as I try and just be that conduit between the vineyards and the final product.
Bolt To Wines is my partner Karin Langer’s side project. These wines are also all hailing from Santa Barbara County and are not all made by me. Some of the wines come from our friends and other winemakers in the area. But don’t be fooled, these wines are all small batch and hands on just like our wines are. Karin is just in a unique position to take wines off our friends and bottle them under her own label. Some of the pedigree on the NDA wines are absolutely astonishing for the price that we charge. Another fun note is that Karin’s sister, Sara Rowley does all the label artwork and no label is ever used twice. Each bottle is it’s own work of art.
NSO Wines is our value project but the quality and QPR is second to none. These are, without question, the least expensive wines coming out of the Santa Barbara County and Paso Robles all star appellations. These wines move very quickly so we only have two offerings under this label…but they are both STEALS at these discounted prices.

2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Villa Colibri Vineyard Los Olivos District Retail $65.00…40% off $39.00
Our first wine from the small vineyard nestled into the Los Olivos District AVA in Santa Barbara County called Villa Colibri. This vineyard is only about 3.5 acres and produces mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Petit Verdot and Malbec as well and is meticulously farmed by Coastal Vineyard Care Associates. This 2020 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon is our best attempt to showcase this property. While the blend is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon at 89%, the balance is 6% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot. Bringing all aspects of the property to the finished wine. This wine departs slightly from our other Santa Barbara Cabernets in that it is more akin to a modern Bordeaux. The fruits are darker than previous iterations showing wonderful blueberry, black berries coupled with the cigar box and pencil shavings which are synonymous with prestigious Cabernet. The palate is still framed with acid and soft tannins which is indicative of our house style. New French oak was used to bring the wine up over 20 months. At time of release, the wine will have been in bottle for an additional 18 months.

The first wine in our new series called DNW SRH. This wine represents the best the cellar has to offer regardless of vineyard site. We look at each barrel and come up with the best blend possible. Upon opening the first aroma you will notice is that of slight reduction and flintiness. Be quick as this blows off fast and is beautiful if you can catch it. There is a note of sweet oak on the nose as well with the earthiness lying beneath. As the wine opens it reveals dark red cherries and raspberries along with roses and tea. The palate is structured but soft and silky. The finish long and balanced. The aging potential of this wine is immense.

As with our other vineyard designates, the goal with this wine is to be distinguishable as “Spear”. We’ve completely succeeded here. Spear is known for it’s bright red fruit and pastels. This wine has that. It opens with aromas of cherry coke and brininess with earth and crushed rocks. The palate is bright and fresh with the pastels and flowers dominating. It has a waxy component almost like chewing on rose petals. the tannins light and supple.

Once again hailing from the sandy slopes of Spear Vineyards, this Grenache is true to form as an ethereal and vibrant expression. Continuing with 100% whole cluster fermentations, it is our goal to bring as complex of a wine as possible. We feel the inclusion of stems gives the wine lifted aromatics and an earthiness you don’t get from completely destemming. This wine exudes all classic hallmark Grenache aromas of wild cherries, sage and herbal tea. On the palate it is light and nimble with firm acidity and light tannins.
2021 Chardonnay Hilliard Bruce Vineyard Sta Rita Hills Retail $40.00…40% off $24.00

An early pick for a laser focused Chardonnay as this is what the west end of the Sta Rita Hills is best at. Hilliard Bruce is a vineyard of mostly sand which shows in the focus of this wine. Bright fresh citrus is the first aroma of note. Followed by classic SRH salt and brinny characteristics. The low ph gives this wine that classic mineral smell of wet stone as the acid dominates. This wine is definitely the opposite of a “buttery Chard” as our region doesn’t really manage that style well. On the palate you get green apple and lemon lime with a singular focus. A very good young wine but also a very agable wine as well.

Refined, smooth tannins coat the palate while always being driven home with fresh bright acidity. This Cab hits way above its weight class. You can drink this the day you get it or cellar it for years to come.

Aromas of lemon lime, hazelnut and brioche. On the palate there’s a soft texture with wonderful acidity. Peach and apricot with some briny minerality.
