My quest for Brew Dog's Tactical Nuclear Penguin

Quite a beer this Brew Dog ice distilled imperial stout. Expensive, but quite enjoyable, a shot at a time (which is what I had in Ediburgh at $8 an oz.). Wondering what others think of it. More on my quest for this brew in my blog: Going nuclear in Edinburgh, Scotland | Corks, Caps & Taps

I had no clue what this was when I was at Bev Mo last year. My only thought was "$80 for a beer?!"Should have bought one to try.

We had this and the Sink the Bismarck in the store a few years ago. They sold surprisingly fast for being so expensive.

Gimmicky and boozy are my thoughts. I was able to taste this and Sink the Bismarck last year and they confirmed that I don’t like anything about BrewDog.

I’ve had a couple sips — didn’t really like it. Came across as a super-charged quad - and I really don’t like quads in the first place - so …

Count me as NOT a fan of this beer. A bit dirty tasting. Think how much Founder’s Kentucky Breakfast Stout you can get for the same money!
