My best and favorite glassware right now. (Yay Glasvin!)

What’s your cut? How many dozen have you sold to Alfert?

Lol
…Alfert is too cheap…you should see the glasses he drinks from…I even had to buy him stems for his beach place. [wow.gif]

NM just cancelled my order because “they could not fulfill” hmmmm. Or didn’t want to give me the discount.

This is insane! I don’t think I’m going to be able to resist at least trying these.

I re-ordered the nude glasses to see if they’d ship them.

Alfert needs to test these out to see how truly breakable they are.

Fu …nothing is safe in his hands

They are beautiful, probably the most harmonious lineup there is, if one would want to have everything from ine series.

Do you happen to have the dimensions of the champagne glasses (diameter – max, and the opening –, height, weight)? Would highly appreciate it, have been looking a lot online.

Which of the Champagne glasses do you most prefer? Or for different wines?

Of the 2 Sophienwald champagne glasses to the left, the larger one is by far the preferred one. Here’s some specifics:

Which ones did you buy and how would you rate them 5 years later?

The Glassvin remains my favorite. The stems are a bit thin so clean with EXTRA care holding bowl securely.

The Gabriel StandArt are great when I have more than one guests

The Conterno is amazing but sits in my cabinet safely. The Glassvin is similar shape.

The Glasvin universal is a nice glass for sure. I’m looking for a Burgundy style glass and I find some of them comically large. That’s why I had my eye on these Nude Stem Zero Elegant glasses. Almost identical dimensions to the Grassl Cru (which are hard to find at a decent price in my area).

But I can hardly find any feedback about them from the wine community- which makes me hesitate!

For Burgundy, Grassl Cru are perfect imo. I’ve experimented a ton and find myself going to that glass almost every time. I will jump to the Sensory when I have a really special bottle and minimal distractions.

Happy to delete if this self-promotion isn’t kosher… but my newly launched Fontaine Red Wine / Burgundy stems might well fit the bill for you. I - and all of the wineries I consulted with - also agree that most of the Pinot stems are comically large to the detriment of both performance and aesthetics. If you want some reviews, you can look at our recent BD17 post where a few Berserkers have chimed in.
