My 2009 WOTY - '07 Scherrer Alexander Valley "Scherrer Vineyard" Zinfandel OMV

This wine has it all - fruit intensity, balance, richness and outstanding depth. One of the best Zinfandels I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot).

Cost? Something under $25. A fabulous wine. I’ve bought and re-purchased this wine and I’ve yet to have a bottle that wasn’t exceptional. I can’t keep my hands off of it.

Well done Fred and Judi!!! flirtysmile

Mike…vintage please? [berserker.gif]

2007 T-Bone!

WOTY? i am in for a case, hopefully it will have winebid resale value.
but seriously, will be on the lookout

Charlie, this is Mike D. talking, not Parker or WS. But I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Fred may even have a few bottles left, not sure.

never had a bad bottle in any vintage of OMV. some of the easiest wines to enjoy in California.

No need to be on the lookout - just call/email Fred.

I’ve got two bottles in the cellar, and half a dozen more of the '06. If you are over here sometime in the near future, remind me, and we’ll crack one or two.

Plus 1 to that - I’ve had '04, '05, '06, and have some '07 in the cellar but haven’t opened any yet. My favorite of what I’ve had is the '05, and fortunately I have a mag of it, ready for some Berserkerfest somewhere, some day…

Todd, the '07 is the best OMV I’ve ever had (and I’ve loved 'em for years).

I know you are a fan of Fred’s OMV as I am, so I will take that to heart…now just to keep my grubby mitts off the TWO I have. Maybe someone will swap some '07’s for some '06’s just for variety

had my first OMV yesterday- the 03-.

It was terrific. Pop and pour and ready to drink. Great fruit with terrific balanced. Added some of the 07 to my Pinot order. The notes on Fred’s website and CT sound terrific.
