I’d imagine this is very close to, borders, or is part of Monte Rosso. Isn’t there a Montecito cab on the way too?
Yes it’s on the backside of the mountain, right over the crest from Monte Rosso. I guess Moon Mountain is a new AVA? Makes sense, since the vineyards up there have little in common with those of Sonoma Valley which is the AVA that would have formerly covered this area.
