With Andrew’s generous help, going to throw this up there as a first-time stop for Mike on Tour in Baltimore. Looking forward to meeting some people and sharing conversation, great food and wine.
Hey gang -
Right off the bat, I’m thinking we should schedule something with one of Tony Foreman’s restaurants. Tony is a serious wine lover and I’m sure would be happy to welcome us.
He has two locations in Harbor East, a swankier area of downtown Baltimore:
*Cinghiale - Italian eatery with an amazing wine list. He hosts winemakers from Barolo and Brunello here often.
The Charleston(https://charlestonrestaurant.com/) - A ritzier option across the street. Exceptional elevated lowcountry cooking.
Or we could target something slightly outside the city center, like Petit Louis (https://petitlouis.com/). This is a bangin’ French bistro with authentic Lyonnaise cuisine and an another storied wine list.
I have no doubt that we could arrange a corkage situation at any one of these places. I have a few old Burgs I’ve been meaning to share.
Happy to hear anybody else’s thoughts on the matter.
