Nope, only: CA, CO, OR, WA, MN, MO, NM, CT. DC. SC. WI

They used to ship to VA. The $18.25 per bottle shipping plus the 10% tax in DC was enough to scare me off. What gets me is that DC has no reporting requirements for shipping wine. Therefore no way to submit the sales tax. With all that it’s a $33.25 tariff per bottle with ground shipping. When I used to ship it to DC they did not collect sales tax.

Plenty, but IMHO it’s not worth $182 a bottles (with shipping and sales tax)

All ways cool is still in business. They just shipped me Andremily and Fingers crossed a like 6 weeks ago. Will use them for this order. Just got mailer today.

To me it’s the best Chardonnay outside of Montrachet…great value at under $200.

OT but which vintage of Finger Crossed did you have delivered? I haven’t seen anything about the 2019s yet.

Was last years offer that I purchased I think July of 2019.

FWIW the 2012 Pinot came in at 14.3% alcohol. It was a tad too big for both my wife and myself.

I can see why Parker loved these wines.

I’m not John but I’m sure he’s referencing the 2018 Fingers Croased, as mine were just delivered a month or two ago via All Ways Cool.

I can ship to my offsite storage in CT, too. Reach out if you’re interested in going this route. Not a big deal. Just curious to try Marcassin Chard.

Peter, I’ve found that even with their delayed releases, both the pinot and chard benefit from extra bottle time. Not sure if your experience was shortly after receiving or very recently, but I always try to let them sit a few years after receiving them.

Got my mailer in. If I chose to pass on the chard will I still get a Pinot offer? Not a chard fan but might have to take some if that’s the case

Exactly the opposite of my situation. I have usually found someone who wanted the Pinot, but could not last time around. Still got the Chard offer.

Ron, our experience was very recent, both my wife and I got that slight whiff of alcohol from the wine.

I am now into my seventies and strangely am much more sensitive to the smell and taste of alcohol than I used to be. It’s about the only thing I’m more sensitive to!!!. Also my body just doesn’t metabolize alcohol like it once did, I get drunk on higher alcohol wines pretty easily these days. Twenty years ago my wife and I could go into a restaurant and order a glass of white each before sharing a bottle of red. Not any more, I have to be much more careful what I consume, and higher alcohol wines have a much greater effect than the 1% increase might predict. Again, twenty years ago a 14.3% wine would not have been a problem, but today it is.

My opinion on what constitutes a high alcohol Pinot Noir is certainly not universal. For example I also firmly believe the United Nations should pass a resolution declaring all fruit bomb 15+% Pinots to be a Crime Against Humanity. [rofl.gif]

Anybody that wants the full allocation and can send PayPal or Venmo PM me. I need to skip this one but want to offer it to people out there to get them a chance. I’m going to post in CC too everything will be at cost

Hey due to some traveling I don’t have the actual mailer in hand. Can anyone share the mailing address for ordering?

Just received the letter today in NYC. Interestingly enough the allocation field is left blank. I guess I’ll go ahead and try my luck with a high quantity ask [cheers.gif]

I’m not taking mine Len, got the letter today.

Sent back my order slip today. Do they just cash the check if you get your allocation?

Yes, my understanding is that the only actual indication you’re getting the wine you ordered is a cashed check.
