Maison Camille Giroud 2016 Vosne-Romanée "Les Chalandins

Very pretty aroma, Im getting raspberries Asian tea and spice notes.
Tasting wise its very Vosne and all about the fruit with some spice thrown in along with dried sage and earth. For a village wine it’s quite good but the aroma was a bit ahead of the palate. Felt a little one dimensional going down.
I had this with Black seabass, ramps and kale

Seemed to taste better day 3. Probably a combination of oxygen and a different meal combination

Yes, I wouldn’t sea bass with this. Love me some ramps. I have some older Giroud, but have not drunk any yet. i’m glad you enjoyed yours.
