Yes, I sent my add-on message to Reid and handled it on his end. Very simple.

Good to know. Reached out and hopefully score some additional wish list Cab :crossed_fingers:

Added a bottle of Syrah to complete a 6 pack. Oh, and wished for another 3 Cabs!

Poor Reid… he needs to put a hard stop on these allocations

hopefully rounding out a 6pack with another Cab

I took a pass, I’ve been on a stupid buying spree lately. Have a handful of the Cabs resting, really good stuff based on the one that I did pop.

You think Hack would cop to being at a Riesling tasting?

I had to pass as well. Something’s gotta give at some point, ha!

And besides… @Robert.A.Jr bought enough on the last release that I’ll just plan on drinking his when i make it out to FL

I posted a separate thread but wanted to give others here a heads up that Daniel Walsh is a scammer. Hopefully he didn’t trick anyone else into selling him their allocation. Here’s my post from the separate thread:

I posted in the Tidings thread that I wasn’t so sure about the shipping costs being worth it for me. Daniel offered to buy my allocation so I sold it to him and he Venmo’ed me promptly via a Goods and Services transaction. An hour later he said his wishlist got granted so he wanted a refund. I said I’d ask Tidings, but then thought better of it and said he could resell the wine in CC and I’d be happy to change the address.

He’s been badgering me nonstop that I should do him a favor and just cancel my order and refund him. He’s called the winemaker about me refunding him and now he’s filed a Venmo claim against me because he hasn’t received his wine yet. Avoid this guy at all costs.

Doesn’t really sounds like a scam to me, just a dick move.

The weird thing was that I told him I’d refund him just to get rid of him today and now he’s filed a claim. Definitely scum.

You’re right and an honest mistake on my end. I reported him on Venmo because his account no longer shows up on my end. Just wanted to request the money, but Venmo kept telling me his account could not be found (which definitely sent the alarm bells in my head) Either, a mistake or I guess he blocked me on Venmo.

Now he’s just name calling me on Wine Berserkers and I’ve been disappointed that he has sunk this low.

Really thought he was a swell guy, but oh well.

Ok then drop your Venmo claim and keep your wine. Claiming you didn’t receive your wine to Venmo to get a refund is a scum move when you know the wine couldn’t have even shipped yet. Act like an adult

It was one of the only ways to continue my claim request (best option on my end).

You still haven’t answered why your account is no longer showing on Venmo.

I apologize to everyone that has to see this. We’re suppose to keep disputes private and clearly he has failed and not honored that agreement.

I blocked you on Venmo because I assumed you were a scammer. I was clearly right.

Yeah… you should understand how this looks to a totally uninterested third party. You entered into a transaction. Rajesh is holding up his end. Now you’re lying to Venmo to harass him. It’s borderline fraud. I’m not sure why you think Rajesh has done anything wrong when in the first place he was just doing you a solid by passing on the allocation. The fact that you didn’t think through the possibility of a wish list being granted is really your own problem…

Daniel why don’t you just do what you are asking Raj to do?

Email the winery and explain your situation and ask them to refund your wishlist. You can let them know that you will be a buyer on the next release. Seems pretty simple and it keeps you from asking Raj to do something he shouldn’t have to deal with.
