I don’t think you grasp how Venmo refund scams work, which I give an abbreviated overview here. It would be incredibly poor judgment to send money back via the Venmo platform to someone they don’t know. The transaction profile Daniel Walsh is trying to force through is the standard template for the refund scams that happen all day long on marketplace platforms. Don’t fall for it if you are solicited!
