2025 Ameztoi, Txakolina Rubentis - 10.5% abv, cepage Hondarrabi Beltza, slight spritz and truly refreshing. Like wild raspberry flavored mountain spring water with a hint of marjoram. A rosé like no other and certainly among the “low alcohol brightness” wines that I now seek.

About $22, retail. Yum!

A household favorite. Great summer wine, sushi, or pintxos.

I’ve been to the winery and it’s lovely. I really like this wine but cannot get myself to pay $25 for it in California. Maybe I’m living in 2009.
