I’d love to but we can’t make it this weekend.
It was great meeting everybody! The food was excellent too. The consensus favorite wine was 2007 JJ Prum WS Kabinett after Uli’s masterful Durand extraction of a crumbled cork. Uli’s unusual varietials German white blend was a standout. Wes’ Cabernet and Touriga Nacional that he made from what I believe are vineyards in Santa Clara county and Saratoga were very good. Sadly, Sutter Home Cabernet from a bottled blend of 1959/60 was corked! 2010 ABC Chard was oxidized. Looking forward to more fun with this group.

Great times indeed! Small crowd this time, but no shortage of good wine, food and conversation. Here’s the final line up - I’d say the 1988 Pickberry was quite memorable

Who mentioned the Vidovich sale? Uli? I don’t see it on their site, in case it was there to begin with. Nancy, their winemaker, brought a '12 from their Montebello vineyard to dinner Sunday.

Thanks. Lake Vyd. is in Los Altos Hills where the son of the late founder lives. The lake is a former quarry with some mansions around it.

A few times. Not recently. I remember liking the '12.
I bought a case of the 2019 which is drinking well now and will certainly age. Tried the 21 as well, clearly it was on the young side.
