That’s because you spend so much time in France!!!
Could be…
I thought it was because of my poor choice in friends from Philly!
Thanks Carrie. We are going to intiailly (if all goes well) be making a blend of Whitehawk and Stolpman Syrah. This is the first vintage, so who knows what happens between now and then. We are making three barrels as we try to learn the wine business. I expect to learn quite a bit in the next few years. Thanks for the interest.
The Web Site, something else I have learned quite a bit about, but nothing compared to what I need to know, went live this week. I am hoping to see our mailing list slowly grow, but happily there has been some good resonse.
If you sign up for the list, the plan is to update those people, by e-mail, with details at key stages (i.e. harvest, bottling, etc.). One things I do know a lot about is what I like as a wine consumer/buyer and my hope is to have a very good (or better wine), fairly priced, with top customer service. Thanks again to all.
BTW, I doubt that the PLCB ever sees it. I am sure the Rock Hall will even if it is in my bag and snuck in.
Nice work on getting grapes from White Hawk; I’m still on the waiting list! Fortunately, I was able to get fruit from a vineyard right next door and managed by the same team and we were stoked with the grapes last harvest.
Good luck with your endeavor; I’m sure you’ll love it!
