Looking for cardboard boxes....

I am looking for two types of boxes…any help that could be provided would be great. TIA.

1 - 12 bottle boxes that can hold bigger (shoulder and height) California/Bordeaux styled bottles.

2 - 6 bottle magnum (2 rows of 3) lay-flat cardboard boxes.

Nobody has any leads on where I can buy these or have them made?..

I can inquire with the warehouse guys as to who we buy from and get you the info.

Pretty much when we all order glass for bottling it comes in boxes otherwise we fire the glass supplier. Thus wineries don’t order boxes. If it’s shipping boxes you’re after that’s another question, but as Jorge says, I’d have to go check on the details of who we order from and where they come from.

From the U-Line site it just seemingly carriers and not really storage.

Hold on, need a little clarification here. You are NOT looking for styro shippers, correct? You’re looking for cardboard boxes that you can use sort of like bins for long term storage? Are you putting these sideways or standing them up? [scratch.gif]

it’s just so different in the states (I assume) versus France. I’m just used to seeing bottles stacked on top of each other shrink wrapped.


No shipping boxes needed…have WAY too many of those already.

I want a box like this (see below) that can fit obnoxiously sized California wines. I will also accept boxes where the bottles can lay flat (think of Burgundy boxes 2*6 - lay flat)

Wines would be stored neck down and access would not be necessary as they would be in off site locations.

Just ordered 2 boxes from here to test out. Hopefully this will solve the problem.
