We enjoyed their restaurant week menu and recommend it highly. Lots of choices, most from their regular menu and the rest could be a daily special any other evening.
2 Spring in Oyster Bay charges $45 with 2 bottle max. Very elegant dining with a LI vibe in a beautiful room. All fish dishes were exceptional. Cheese plate, also. Where I want to go for my next ten anniversaries.
$5 BYO on Sunday is back. Generous portions of well prepared Continental/American food. Attentive service, comfortably upscale atmosphere. Sit inside for live jazz every night. Or outside on the patio facing quaint Main Street in Cold Spring Harbor.
Is Elmont in Long Island? Because Salvatore’s of Elmont is a party. Everyone sits outdoors under a huge tent. Complimentary house wine and limoncello shots. No charge to BYO.
Blue Waters Mediterranean Cuisine, N. Bellmore. No charge to BYOB. Newly opened, small Greek restaurant, large selection of daily specials, lobster, tuna, etc. We had a very fresh, nicely grilled red snapper.
Edoardo’sTrattoria, Huntington. Permitted to BYO for $20 when I inquired. Heavy stems. Portions are Euro sized and USA priced. But as good as anything we found in Rome.
Platia in Syosset serves excellent Greek food and has $25 corkage. The short wine list also has a couple of moderately priced Greek wines by bottle and glass but I didn’t get that far. Stems are good.
