Le Cache Credenza wine

Used Le Cache credenza wine cellar for sale. Local pickup only in DFW area. The cooling unit is working, but ices up at low temperature. It will need to be replaced soon. Originally $5000, for sale for $300. Photos available on request. Feel free to contact me with questions. If you’re looking for a classic style wine credenza this is a steal, has glass doors and glass top.

nice for people who have space and the ability to pick this up; these credenzas are very nice but super heavy.

I’ll PM you

As previously discussed in other threads.

Easy to take off the doors.

Infinitely easier to move after

These are beautiful units (I have the wood topped, glass doored variant) but they are difficult to move. To do it without damaging it, the task needs a lift gate truck and 2-3 strong backs. Even a small step, lip etc. anywhere in the path to its end destination room is a bit of drama. I had to move one a couple of summers ago, and was grateful that we have a flat single story floorplan.

Yeah I have the euro credenza in my den. It was incredibly hard to move.

I have an electrical socket behind mine that needs repair, but now that the unit is full and working, it’s stated 600 lbs of weight is probably more like 1000 lbs, so I have given up on moving it to access the receptacle since it’ll be such a headache to unload, move, get the repair done, and then do everything in reverse.

I agree it is not fun to move. I had two professional movers with a liftgate get it in to my house. I have it on the ground floor within 12 feet of a door to the driveway, but it will still take some doing to get it out. I would love to see it find a home so I’ve priced it to move. This is also the four door version which I like better than the current three door version they’re selling.

Me and two friends moved one up and down a flight of stairs and out of a standard height uhaul. Two furniture dollys and some creative use of cardboard made the ramp and stairs pretty easy

It doesn’t look like there’s much interest here. Would it change the math if I lowered the price to free?

Have you considered listing it somewhere else like craigslist and/or facebook marketplace? Given that only folks in or near DFW are potential buyers, there are only so many of those folks on WB, and a good many of the WB folks likely already have their wine storage situation handled, I think you’d probably have better luck reaching out to local folks who might be wine enthusiasts but don’t rise to the level of reading WB on a regular basis. FWIW, I have one of these units myself but since I moved to a house with a dedicated cellar it serves purely as a credenza in our entryway - beautiful piece of furniture but awfully heavy!

It’s on FB Marketplace, no bites. Thanks though

Sold! Come and get it pricing was effective. I found out after the fact that my wife was posting on the wrong FB marketplace. Now everything is selling above asking price. I could have gotten more than a nice bottle of wine for the credenza, but I’m glad it found a home with a berserker.

Thank you again @Jonah_P for the deal (can you call free a deal?) Its already filling up! We need to do that tasting soon.
