Hi all, is anyone familiar with this wine, in '21 or other vintages? I have the opportunity to get some at a good rate but I’m on the fence. Latour’s prices are so high for what they are that even a discount might not make the wine worth it.
Latour does not have much of a following around here due to pasteurizing their reds and making whites that generally underperform.
Well, it depends on how much of a bargain, right?
That said, I’ve tried their other Chassagnes in the past and was never impressed at the prices back then, never mind what they’re currently charging.
$65. Which is a good discount and good price for a Morgeot, but not if the wine isn’t good.
They always have attractive prices, and there is a reason for that…
