Agreed. The $107 “best web” matches, but not the retail price. That makes no sense.
Looks like Robot is pulling from the 2021 spec sheet
I will be sure to berate the machine shortly for this error
The $107 though is second best on my W-S search. I see one for $59. Also why would the “best web” be higher than the price direct from winery? I think the remainder of the descriptors point to Stag’s Leap, and so likely Artemis, but just a little confusing.
This is really not that good of a deal. Only if you really like mediocre Napa Cab, hence the 92 pt score!
Pass for me, other LB mystery bottles have been way better. This one is low risk, however if you want to dip your toe in.
A 92 from Suckling is likely to be an 85 at best. Easy pass.
Indeed. Warren Winiarski. Also, “Use your best judgment, and the City of Lights will be your playground forevermore!” is an obvious reference.
Ah the life of a parent who lets his kids participate in all the travel sports…I was in a dinky little town grocery store this weekend and grabbed a 2021 Artemis for $35 in the outlet bin next to the bathrooms ![]()
This is a deal now for this wine? Crazy. This was the going rate just a few years ago…
Easy pass
I can’t for the life of me figure out why I would want to spring for a 92 point “mystery” wine.
FWIW 2022 Artemis is now up at WTSO for $49.99 -free shipping on two or more.
Doesn’t sound like many here were interested at $45. I wouldn’t be.
Looks like they are doing some sort of “birthday” event this weekend starting in ~45 mins.
Napa day. I guess 40 different nap cabs. I bet we see some more Kapcsandy today
Lol second wine is a Kapcsandy mag
Snagged the Cornerstone. I enjoy their wines, but they are heavily oaked.
Didn’t love the Cornerstone I bought a few months ago but they are good quality.
The question is will there be anything new?
I’ve got enough Napa cab - verticals of Pine Ridge’s Stag’s Leap, Howell Mountain and Oakville appellations at the peak - given that my taste has moved on to a more southern Rhône-ish style.
Mystery is The Debate
def don’t need a mag of anything really but i picked up that 2016 roberta’s reserve as a mystery and popped one, not disappointed for the price. I really want to try the cab franc they make but doubt that’ll come around at a reasonable price.
