LastBottleWines.com (Last Bottle Wines) Deal Discussion Thread (Part 2)

People talking about Elivette and I don’t know what to think. For the price I picked up a couple of the 2013 that just flashed by hoping it isn’t a mistake.

It’s worth the LB price.

2016 beringer private reserve up as a mystery wine again

So now they’re doing a Napa Cab hour… alright, let’s do this.

That Beringer is a great wine at that price.

Man it’s really just the LB “greatest” common hits at this point…

It’s been a long time since I shopped at LB, but it seems like that generally the Marathons exists for them to clean out bin ends and they throw in Power Hour in order to get more jaded buyers to follow along. So I guess it’s a good chance to reload on things you liked? But I don’t think it’s really a chance to get any new deals.

22 Cortello Cab up now. Always a nice bottle.

Pretty much this, plus some stuff they got that didn’t have sufficient quantity for a daily offer.

Then whatever still doesn’t sell goes to mystery case

You can find 2013 Elivette here from LB, without the disappearing-in-a-flash act.

Well this was an unfortunate thread to find today… there goes my afternoon!

I used to obsessively refresh for hours. Gave that up a while back. Enjoy!

EDIT: I’m doing it anyway. It really is a sickness.

Auto refresh extensions are, in this case, your friend. Except when they have embedded viruses and malware, etc., but who cares about that when they make buying wine that much easier?

Call me basic but I had never heard of Elivette before today, and just jumped on a 2003 magnum for $79. And I thought BerserkerDay was a high :face_with_spiral_eyes::partying_face:

I had never heard of Elivette before several months ago, and now I own like 3 or 4 cases of it…

What’s the story with Horsepower? Feel like those wines really fly on the marathon.

Cayuse connection.

Did anyone see any '12 Elivette in 375 yesterday?

Fell for that once early in my wine journey. Never again!

'12 Elivette in 375 was the last wine I picked up last night (I think $19), I would say around midnight EST.
