They’re claiming it was sourced from a winery that usually charges $125, made by a prominent winemaker, usually 200 case production.
I do like the tasting notes, but looking at CT I have a TON of 2014 cab, and should probably focus on backfilling to vintages that are ready to drink, or save my ducats for the (supposedly very good) 2015s…
2007 Chateau Suduiraut for $26. Wine searcher had half bottles at $49, community price for the wine on CT was $42 so I thought it was a worth a shot. Consistent solid producer
I bought a case of the 13 Rosso Di Montalcino and thought it was great for the $$. But also bought a 14 generic “Rosso Toscana” from LB that was not good. So I’m torn on the 14 RDM.
$12 Albarino? Yes have some. LBW has been very good on getting me 6 packs of cheap, summer drinkers.
Got 6 each of the St. Mitre Rose & the Dropout Albarino so far at $11 & $20 respectively and both have been a delight, especially the Dropout. I’ve shifted my strategy with them to mostly all whites/rose/sparkling and have not had a bad wine/deal yet. Very happy with my move, those rando cabs and pinots were batting around 10% for me…
