Anyone biting on the $44 Sleeper cab?

Re: Sleeper Cab, 2014- no CT reviews yet, history looks decent. Worth a chance?

Anyone know if each year these bottles are sourced from the same producer?

They’re claiming it was sourced from a winery that usually charges $125, made by a prominent winemaker, usually 200 case production.

I do like the tasting notes, but looking at CT I have a TON of 2014 cab, and should probably focus on backfilling to vintages that are ready to drink, or save my ducats for the (supposedly very good) 2015s…

I doubt it. Probably buys from any part of NAPA they can.

2007 Chateau Suduiraut for $26. Wine searcher had half bottles at $49, community price for the wine on CT was $42 so I thought it was a worth a shot. Consistent solid producer

Grabbed the La Fortunate RdM up right now.

In for 6.

6 too. The 2004 LF Brunello LB offered was a great deal.

When was that?

I bought a case of the 13 Rosso Di Montalcino and thought it was great for the $$. But also bought a 14 generic “Rosso Toscana” from LB that was not good. So I’m torn on the 14 RDM.

$12 Albarino? Yes have some. LBW has been very good on getting me 6 packs of cheap, summer drinkers.

Got 6 each of the St. Mitre Rose & the Dropout Albarino so far at $11 & $20 respectively and both have been a delight, especially the Dropout. I’ve shifted my strategy with them to mostly all whites/rose/sparkling and have not had a bad wine/deal yet. Very happy with my move, those rando cabs and pinots were batting around 10% for me…

The $25 cab the other day was nice.

Actually, it was the 2003. I bought it in early 2016 and then bought the remainder of what they had. Price you ask? $20. Screaming deal, IMO.

Fantastic - don’t see many of those deals any more.

Today’s Mazetier Bordeaux magnum for $19 is a screaming deal,as well. It’s screaming, “Do not buy!”

LOL

Bit on todays offer…looks good…92 WE…$90 bottle of wine for $29.00…average price $70 across USA…

I’m sure this obscure Aussie Pinot Gris endorsed by a dead comedian will be a suitable replacement.
