Tonight’s grilled leg of lamb, marinated in garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper and Penzey’s herbs de Provence.
Yum.
Were they out of the Daisy sour cream?
The Tillamook is local and it was on special. I prefer Daisy, all jokes aside, because it has no guar gum.
Nice Kirkland EVOO.
I like that vintage dated EVOO. I have a 2-liter of the regular stuff in the cupboard for general cooking use.
You missed the Trader Joe’s First Lady Reserve next to it.
Never steeped foot in a TJ so I wouldn’t have a clue.
You’re missing out.
Closest one is in Albuquerque…I think.
Too bad.
What’s the first lady reserve?
Italian first cold press EVOO. Very peppery.
Come visit!!
I also mail out care packages. Some good friends of mine are in Okinawa so there is a monthly trip to TJs, Whole Foods and then the post office. Adding a package to TX seems simple enough.
There is so much good locally produced olive oil around here I don’t buy there any more. I’m overrun with oil!

Oooh, bikini wrestling!
Looks perfect, Bob.
Very nice.
Lamb good, yours: really good.

A few weeks ago when some friends and I were tasting room hopping in your 'hood, Linda, I picked up a bottle of DuBost’s. Very fresh and full flavor. If you haven’t been there to try it, give it a go. Yum!

You should have let me know you were here!
