Krug Grand Cuvee, are you serious?

I completely get this take. I don’t buy a bunch of Krug for that very reason, considering that I can usually get Bolly G.A. for the price of the MV. That said, I generally really enjoy it when I get to drink it. What I will say is that I would probably buy Krug MV over NV Pierre Peters because of what I see as a major difference in quality. I’ve really enjoyed vintage PP, but some of the NV stuff I’ve had was underwhelming. Then again, we’re talking about a major price difference.

The first few times I had Krug it was a little disappointing. Though after doing the seminar at the berserkers ski and wine fest I have a new appreciation. Krug recommended a light chill and a white wine glass. They believe that the wine being to cold or in a flute makes it not show to its full potiental. Its the only bubbles I have had that actually gets better in the fridge overnight when half full. Its just not drinking it all in a siting strains the will power. We now drink a bottle of bubbles first then open the Krug so were not so thirsty and savor it a little more.
