Kimchi at Costco?!

I heart Costco. Go there once a week, sometimes more. Love their CS and return policy.

But Kimchi??? Who are they targeting? There’s 3 Korean supermarkets within 10 miles of me. I like kimchi a lot, don’t love it. I also refuse to keep it at home due to its…ummm…distinct scent, even in my garage fridge cuz that’s where I keep the beer and I somehow imagine it seeping into the beer through the glass. How long has Costco been selling kimchi? I think I just never noticed it.

They have also started selling Bok Choy in the produce department.

I wonder if they realize how CHEAP that stuff is at the Chinese and Korean supermarkets around here??

Ooh . . . Harvey Steiman can buy breakfast all over the country now. newhere

Is it any good? I love Kimchi.

I’ve personally never had it, but hear it’s good. The company that makes it is a reputable one. You just have to buy a big jar of it.

How big? I usually buy one of these:

This is from the kimchi museum in the COEX Mall in Seoul. It was fun to visit - quick and cheap. Amazing how many varieties of kimchi there are. Interesting history too.

That’s a lot of kimchi…too much.

Maybe I should turn in my Korean card.
