I’ll be in Keystone CO March 4-8…any good restaurant recommendations for the Keystone/Breckenridge area (no cuisine preferences, as long as it’s great)? I’ll have a car, so I suppose I could make it as far as Vail.
I gather no BYOB in CO? What’s up with that?
Was just there for 5 days, but we only ate out 1 night, at the Breckenridge Brewery’s restaurant. Beer was good, food was solid pub food (burgers, etc.), nothing fancy or exceptional but didn’t break the bank either.
Breck is a nice mountain, I was impressed by the snow quality, especially on the upper sections.

Keystone Ranch is very good. Legit fine dining, white table clothes, all that jazz. You even retire to the “den” after your meal for dessert and coffee. Never been to the Aplenglow Stube, but I’m sure it’s a cool experience - highest fine dining in the world. To get a similar experience at 1/2 the price (which still isn’t cheap), try Der Fondue Chesel next door, although I’d give the food a B on a good day. I believe there’s also a fancy restaurant in the Keystone Lodge, but you can skip that. If these don’t work for you, then just check out the Goat: Soup and Whiskey.
