What you think of some of these wines? At least a couple caught my eye, especially the Robert Denogent. Sale is good through today I believe.

I was looking at the Maume but haven’t had it before - anyone try it?
Maume is a mediocre producer. There’s a reason these are all 40% off…
Maume pere was a great, great producer. I’m unfamiliar with the wines post 02.
Bertrand is doing great things at Maume
A number if good things here
Well, considering your take on Texier, this is more of an endorsement.

I tried to get the maume earlier today shortly after the offer went out and it was sold out.
I’ve never had a Texier in my life. Maybe drinking and posting at the same time doesn’t agree with you?
Tom, I buy (from Kermit) and sell a fair number of these wines. There is some good stuff here. My choices are below. These prices are pretty much wholesale. Maume is still very good. I am drinking the 08 Cote de Nuits Villages right now, and it is all that one could ask for in a $20-25 red Burgundy. Vincent’s reds and whites are benchmarks for their appellations. Buisson is an up and comer and the real deal. I had this 08 about two years ago and it was tight, but all components for a delicious bottle of red Burgundy are there. Lucien (Pierre) Boillot’s Pruliers is from old vines, and a rich, meaty wine. The Denogent wine here will compete with many white Burgundies at two-three times the price. Jobard’s Blagny is lean, chiseled and rocky. I am drinking my 01s now and they are beautiful. I believe that the “red tag” sale runs through tomorrow, so perhaps you can still have some fun.
