This is a really cool kickstarter campaign. If you want to do a deep dive on Beaujolais and get extremely geeky this is a worthy project to support. Jon is one of my favorite wine writers and his book The New French Wine is one of the best wine books I have ever read (same for the The New California Wine). I bug him almost daily to write The New German Wine book. Anyway Beaujolais is one of my favorite regions where they are making incredible wines that seem to improve every year with an increasing number of new producers coming into the U.S. I am looking forward to studying the history.
