2/9/24 - BIG GAME BOARD HAS BEEN CORRECTED - THIS IS THE “OFFICIAL” BOARD FOR THE SUPER BOWL.
Now that the AFC and NFC Champions have been crowned, here’s the BIG GAME BOARD.
When you ordered from us, you were assigned 1 box on our Big Game board for each BD15 3-pack in your order. An additional box was assigned if you ordered current release wines also. The boxes were assigned as you ordered, so if you placed two orders or added to an existing order, your boxes may not be together. We then randomly picked the team numbers at the top and side.
The winner will be determined by looking at the winning Super Bowl team, the last number in each teams’ final score, matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers - it sounds complicated but it’s not.
The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate that can be used on a future wine purchase. Gift certificate expires 12/31/24. Good luck!
SOLD OUT - THE FIELD GOAL 3-PACK: Cooper’s Cuvee Blackpaw Petite Sirah
Our Cooper’s Cuvee wines were originally named for Cooper (our labrador retriever) and today they honor all of our past (and future) labs. Sadly, last October Cooper crossed over the rainbow bridge at the age of 14 1/2. Our Blackpaw Petite Sirah is 100% petite sirah and was aged for 20 months in 45% new French Oak. The wine is dark magenta with violet undertones and aromas of black currants and cocoa. Our style of petite sirah is more approachable than most and is the perfect pairing for burgers and barbeque.

Named after the coordinates of our east coast residence, we only produce this wine in vintages where we have a little extra fruit. Our 74-41 cab comes from two mountain vineyards - Stagecoach Vineyard® (our block is located in the Pritchard Hill region of the vineyard) and Yates Vineyard (located on Mt. Veeder). The wine has beautiful aromatics of black fruit (blackberries, black cherries and dark plums) along with baking spices. The palate shows black cherry, currants and hints of spice. Dense and chewy with a long finish. 100% cabernet sauvignon; aged 20 months in French Oak (75% new). Score BIG with the Red Zone 3-pack!
SORRY SOLD OUT ON PREVIEW DAY:
THE LOMBARDY TROPHY LIBRARY 3-PACK: Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Rating: James Suckling 92 points
CT: 94.6 points
From an historic vineyard located on the valley floor, our offering is a genuine bargain to its peer group – others in this vineyard are charging $175 to $450 per bottle. The 2013 vintage was massive upon release – with big fruit and big tannins. Time has really brought this vintage together and while the wines still have their large fruit profile from entry to finish, the tannins have resolved and integrated nicely. Lots of blueberry and blackberry character in our Rutherford offering. It is full bodied, yet lush and silky in the mouth, with the telltale Rutherford Dust finish. Absolutely delicious now but very cellar-worthy.
We know you have a choice of wines and are always appreciative of your support!
Cheers - Karen and John
