Hi all — first-time poster, posting openly as a retailer. I’m Jason Gold, owner of Gold’s Wine and Spirits in Middletown, Rhode Island — a single independent store, not a chain.
Our whole thing is simple: price the wines people actually buy as low as we can, and say so plainly. “Drink better. Pay less.” We ship nationwide where legal — free shipping on orders over $500 (automatic, no code), live carrier rates under that, adult signature 21+ on delivery. We keep dated price comparisons on our site and try to keep our Wine-Searcher listings honest.
I’ll post our current numbers in a separate thread so this one stays an introduction. Happy to answer questions or take criticism on pricing and shipping — and if the community would rather retailers keep offers to a minimum, I’ll respect that.
