InKind AMEX offer free $50 at good restaurants

i haven’t kept close track - which ones are gone that were there before?

Closure’s of MARTA (NY) and Kinn (LA),

Notthing exiting left in LA. Still enough in NY but if they aren’t growing they will be shrinking due to attrition.

The Altamarea group of restaurants (Marea, Ai Fiori, Osteria Morini, 53) joined the program in October. Perhaps not as exciting now as they were, say, 5 or 10 years ago but still serviceable especially with inKind discount. Haven’t been to 53 yet so this may prompt me to try, if I can also be convinced to overcome my skepticism of a pan-Asian restaurant run by a group known for Italian.

Great news re Ai Fiori, Marea.

I avoid Pan -Asian when run by Asians. I prefer mono-cuisine Asian restaurants.

They have 2 places I enjoy going in LA. Not enough to get me to put a ton of money on the app without plans to go to one of those restaurants.

On the one hand, a true (if tautological) statement; on the other, I think my blood pressure spiked upon reading

Mind sharing which?

I just have broad island oyster co.

My wife and I love Pasta Bar, and I think the winter menu is particularly great. They also have very reasonable corkage (I think $25 or $30 when we last went in April). Still, I’d like to see them get more spots I’m interested in.

Thanks!

Love pasta, but not 12 course meals with rare exception. Enjoy Rezdora on NYC quite a bit, a la carte.

Curious if you ever made it there.

On the NY front, we’ve been getting good use of inKind between Ci Siamo, the Modern, Musket Room, Raf’s, and Charlie Bird. Today I just ordered a sandwich from Alidoro through the app and that worked just fine.

Raf’s looks good and wasn’t on my radar.

Yeah, it’s good and fun. From the Musket Room team.

i went to 53 twice when it first opened
rooms are beautiful
food was spotty, but pretty
i agree on the skepticism of a pan-asian restaurant by an italian group thought

Perhaps dumb question, but when they keep offering these massive discounts (100 off any midweek dining, etc), who is eating that discount? Inkind or the restaurants?

inkind.

Extra $10 off on reload card at Costco - $60 for $100. Wish InKind was more robust in California, but it’s awesome when I’m in NYC.

Currently $69.99 but still a good deal and I don’t have to spend $250-500

I didn’t realize that you couldn’t use an inKind promotion (e.g., $50 off $150) with credit on your wallet (e.g. money you’ve earned from the cash back subscription) until I was paying for my bill last night. I’m posting this here so you hopefully don’t make the same mistake I did.

Canceled my inKind subscription.
