Yeah. The difference with this study and the RDT method thatās been in use as a static āhackā is that RDT is only a spray/droplet or two of water. Where this study was significantly more water. And it revealed the coffee extracted better and faster. The flaw in the study is that they only used one coffee grinder thatās widely used in commercial settings and is unlikely to be used at home.
Started doing RDT at home after seeing this discussed and am quite pleased with the results. (But maybe slightly worried that over a long period a hardened sludge from moist fines could collect on my burrs that require a deeper cleaning than otherwise.)
