If everyone used a #wineberserkers hashtag when posting on Instagram, we could all find each other’s wine posts pretty easily. A few on this thread already are, but looks like most (myself included) are not.

No. It’s fucking stupid. Their whole thing is if you flash a light behind the bottle and the bottle shows clear, it’s ready to drink. There’s nothing special about the box and that technique is suspect as every older bottle of burgundy stood up for some time will show clear.

That was pretty much my thought. Seemed like the only thing it’d be good for is if your sediment has settled or not. I wasn’t sure how a plain LED would be able to help me determine anything else haha
