Wine retailers with internet presence send out a plethora of emails touting their new finds and deals. I often read these as crap the distributer needs to unload, but hey, I’m a skeptic in that way. I fully understand this isn’t always the case.
What online wine retailer do you trust most with their email blast recommendations?
I rarely buy wines that are not recommended or ranked therefore I mostly target wines to purchase and do not “Randomly” do so . That said, Zachys and Winex are on the top of my list.
I have never been disappointed by Wine Exchange, great operation. Honorable mention would probably go to Flickinger and Vinopolis. All three tend to run toward the low end of the pricing spectrum and have some pretty great customer service and selection.
Winex by a mile.Well over 100 cases without a hitch. They are the only retailer I would ever buy futures from,on ti me delivery and no excuses
Honorable mention to La Wineco.Wine library was great but no longer ships to Wa. state.???
Another vote for Envoyer, especially if your palate leans towards Burgundy. Very fair prices and occasionally great deals. Greg is a great guy to deal with and customer service beyond reproach. I’m lucky to live close to Envoyer and get free delivery to my locker. I’ve purchased most of my Burgs from him. If you’re currently in an acquiring phase, the emails can be very dangerous to your credit card.
